RE: RESUBDIVISION OF N 1/2 OF LOT 6, BLOCK 3, SEEMORE HEIGHTS
SUBDIVISION -TOM PAXTON AND CHARLES BILL SCHOVANEC
A public hearing was conducted on December 28, 1994, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner W. H. Webster, Chairman
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated December 5, 1994, and duly published
December 15, 1994, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider
the request of Tom Paxton and Charles Bill Schovanec for the Resubdivision of the N 1/2
of Lot 6, Block 3, Seemore Heights Subdivision. Chairman Webster made this a matter of
record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, entered the favorable
recommendation of the Planning staff into the record and answered questions from the
Board concerning the location of the utility easement, which will be vacated, and the
extension of the lot lines. She clarified the resubdivision will join the lot into the subdivision
and will establish the existence of only one lot. Tom Paxton and Charles Bill Schovanec,
applicants, were present, and Mr. Paxton stated they purchased the lot not knowing it was
illegally split until they applied for a building permit. He explained the reason for wanting
to build the home outside the subdivision. No public testimony was offered concerning this
matter. Commissioner Kirkmeyer confirmed the applicants agreed with the one Condition
of Approval and moved to approve the request of Tom Paxton and Charles Bill Schovanec
for the Resubdivision of the N 1/2 of Lot 6, Block 3, Seemore Heights Subdivision, based
on the recommendation of the Planning staff, with the Condition of Approval as entered into
the record. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Harbert, and it carried
unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 4th day of January, 1995.
