RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME TO CITY OF FT. LUPTON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State Statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that the Communication' s
Department is no longer in need of certain equipment described
as follows: 20 channel Dictaphone 5000 reel-to-reel recorder and
120 one-half inch recording tapes , Weld County fixed asset
#06160013 , Recorder Reproducer, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ft. Lupton desires to purchase said
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hereinabove
described equipment be, and hereby is, declared as surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that said equipment be
sold to the City of Ft. Lupton for a total of $5 ,000 . 00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
September, A.D. , 1990 .

A new 30 channel Dictaphone Series 9000 logger recorder was
recently installed in the Communications dispatch center. This
installation makes the 20 channel Dictaphone 5000 reel-to-reel
recorder and the supply of 120 one half inch recording tapes
surplus to our needs. The city of Ft. Lupton has agreed to
purchase the recorder for a price of $2 ,500.00. They have also
agreed to purchase the supply of 120 one half inch tapes for a
price of $2,500 .00. On the Weld County fixed asset list the
recorder appears under number 06160013 , Recorder Reproducer.
Please make the necessary arrangements to declare the equipment
surplus property and authorize sale to the city of Ft. Lupton.
Also authorize the use of a portion of the money derived from the
sale to purchase 70 one inch tapes for use with the new recorder.
