Home My WebLink About900345.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING TO CONSIDER REQUEST OF WRIGHT' S DISPOSAL, INC. , FOR SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 18th day of April, 1990 , at the hour of 10 : 00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of considering the request of Wright' s Disposal, Inc. , for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit for an injection well for disposal of Class II liquid waste as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations (40 C.F.R. 144 .6) , and WHEREAS , the Board was informed that Kurt Weiss, representing the applicant had submitted a letter requesting continuance of said hearing and, although Mr. Weiss indicated he was now ready to proceed with the hearing as scheduled, the Department of Planning Services had notified interested parties of the request for a continuance; therefore, the Department of Planning Services recommended that said hearing be continued to May 16 , 1990 , at 10 :00 a.m. , and WHEREAS, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said hearing to May 16 , 1990 , at 10 :00 a.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to consider the request of Wright ' s Disposal, Inc. , for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit be, and hereby is, continued to May 16 , 1990 , at 10 :00 a.m. i 900345 Page 2 RE: CONTINUE HEARING - WRIGHT' S DISPOSAL, INC. Morrison The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 28, 1990, and duly published April 5, 1990, in The New News, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Wright's Disposal, Inc. , for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an injection well for disposal of Class II liquid waste as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations (40 C.F.R. 144.6) . Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. Keith Schuett, Planning Department representative, informed the Board that the applicant submitted a written request that this hearing be continued; therefore, the Planning staff advised those persons who had attended the Planning Commission hearing of said request. The Planning staff recommended continuance of this hearing to May 16, 1990. Kurt Weiss, Attorney representing the applicant, stated that information necessary for this hearing was received yesterday; therefore, the applicant was prepared to proceed with the hearing as scheduled. Commissioner Kirby moved to continue this hearing to May 16, 1990, at 10:00 a.m. , since interested persons had been notified of the possibility of this hearing being continued. Commissioner Harbert seconded the motion. Public comment concerning the motion for continuance was offered by Nancy Fichter and Pete Alloway. Both requested that this hearing be continued since interested persons had been notified of its probable continuance. The motion carried unanimously.
