RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "25 MPH SPEED LIMIT" SIGNS AT HILL-N-PARK DRIVE AT
49TH STREET AND CASA GRANDE DRIVE AT 47TH AVENUE IN HILL-N-PARK
SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that "25 MPH Speed Limit" signs be installed at Hill-N-Park Drive at 49th
Street and Casa Grande Drive at 47th Avenue in Hill-N-Park Subdivision, to insure
safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to install "25 MPH Speed Limit" signs at Hill-N-Park Drive at 49th Street and
Casa Grande Drive at 47th Avenue in Hill-N-Park Subdivision, for the safety of
the general public, and that said signs must conform to the State manual and
specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of August, A.D. , 1992.

RE: Traffic Control Devices (Hill-n-Park Subdivision)
SPEED LIMIT 25 MPH SIGNS
It has been brought to the attention of this department the need for two 25 MPH
Speed Limit Signs at two of the entrances into Hill-n-Park Subdivision. There
are currently four entrances. However, two of the entrances are already posted
with 25 MPH Speed Limit Signs. The proposed locations for 25 MPH Speed Limit
Signs are at Hill-n-Park Drive just north of 49th Street and Casa Grande Drive
just east of 47th Avenue. With the proposed installation of the speed limit
signs, all entrances will be posted in a uniform manner.
Therefore, it is the recommendation of this department that 25 MPH Speed Limit
Signs be placed at both Hill-n-Park Drive at 49th Street, and Casa Grande Drive
at 47th Avenue, to meet uniform traffic signing on all entrances (see attached
diagram) . All signing to conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control
Devices.
