Estudiantes Un'dn Chavez, this country's most recognized Latino figure.

Several Weld Hispanic organizations have expressed
Greeley- Weld their desire to invite the City Council of Greeley and
LULAC Council 3025 the Weld County Commissioners to join us in remembering
this farmworker advocate who promoted non-violent reform.
Hispanic League
A Weld county proclamation commemorating Chavez 's
Hispanic Women birthday would be a fitting tribute coming from a county
of Weld County which is currently ranked fourth in the U. S. in
agriculture production.
Latina Initiative Will you please express your appreciation of towards
this region's farmworker and Latino community by joining
Los AlegresAncianas the city of Greeley and the Weld Unity Council with an

MEChA of U.N.C. The Chavez Foundation is hosting a commemoration
Northern Colorado honoring Chavez on November 2, 1994 in Keene, California.
Hispanic Chamber
of Commerce There will be a Colorado delegation attending this
Northern Colorado ceremony and we will be presenting the City of Greeley's
LULAC Council 3039 proclamation and (hopefully) Weld County's as well.
Rocky Mountain SERI We would be happy to present this proposal to the
Jobs for Progress, Weld County Board of County Commissioners during your
Inc. regularly scheduled meetings on October 24th or 26th.
SociedadHispana A Unity Council representative will be present at
