RE: DECLARE CERTAIN PROPERTY AS SURPLUS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the County has a 1982 Ford pickup, Asset #15220025,
available to declare as surplus , said pickup having been on loan
to the Weld County Humane Society, and
WHEREAS , the Humane Society wishes to purchase said vehicle
at a price equal to what a similar vehicle sold for at the last
public auction, and
WHEREAS, the Humane Society has offered the County a sales
price of $2,000 . 00 , less credit of $825 . 00 paid in rent for the
vehicle in 1989, and
WHEREAS, the Humane Society wishes to pay the remaining net
sales price of $1 , 175. 00 in three equal installments, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it appropriate to
accept the terms as presented by the Humane Society.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hereinabove
described Ford pickup be, and hereby is, declared as surplus
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby agrees to sell
said pickup to the Weld County Humane Society in accordance with
the terms cited, providing title would not transfer until the
final payment is received and a Certificate of Insurance is
received for the vehicle with Weld County as a named insured.

RE: SURPLUS PROPERTY
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
January, A.D. , 1990 .
