HomeMy WebLinkAbout940801.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT PERMIT FOR TEMPORARY ASSEMBLY TO AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY - SEPTEMBER 17, 1994, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 18, 1994 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the American Cancer Society, 911 28th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631, has presented to the Board of County Commissioners an application for a Permit for Temporary Assembly on land within the unincorporated portion of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, to be held from 4:00 p.m. on the 17th day of September, 1994, until 1:00 a.m. on the 18th of September, 1994, on property described as follows: Guttersen Ranch in Section 9, Township 4 North, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, said applicant has paid to the Weld County the sum of ONE-HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) for said Weld County Permit for Temporary Assembly, and WHEREAS, having examined said application, the Board deems it appropriate to grant a Weld County Permit for Temporary Assembly to the American Cancer Society, and WHEREAS, said permit shall be issued subject to compliance with the terms and conditions as set forth in the application materials and upon the express condition and agreement that the temporary assemblage will be conducted in strict conformity to all laws of the State of Colorado, and WHEREAS, any violation to said terms and conditions shall be cause for revocation of said permit and forfeiture of bond. Identify the plans for parking vehicles, including size and location of lots, points of highway access and interior roads, including routes between highway access and parking lots: Guests will be transported from the school parking lot in Kersey. An agreement has been reached with the school administration to do so. Parking for volunteers at the site has been arranged with the property owners and will be located at the ranch, at the direction of the owner. 13. Identify the plans for communications with hospital, police, and fire services, including the source, amount, and location of communication equipment: All security forces will have mobile phones. Emergency crew will have communication network. A cellular phone is available. All transportation committee people will have cellular phones. 14. Identify the plans for fire protection: Keenesburg Fire Protection District staff will be on site for the entire event, with water available. 16. Identify the plans for security, including the number of guards, their deployment, their names, addresses, credentials and hours of availability and description of peer group control, if any: We have obtained the services of a security agency. The director is arranging for adequate coverage of the school parking area and entire event site.
