RE: APPROVE TRANSFER OF PETTY CASH FUND TO THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, by Resolution on November 20, 1978, the Board of County
Commissioners established a petty cash fund in the amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY
DOLLARS ($250.00) for the Purchasing Department, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has requested said petty cash fund be
transferred to the Accounting Department because of the close proximity of the
two offices, and to eliminate the need for two safes in the same area, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has recommended that
said petty cash fund be transferred to the Accounting Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County that the petty cash fund in the amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS
($250.00) for the Purchasing Department be, and hereby is, transferred to the
Accounting Department.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of August, A.D. , 1992.
