(d) of the Uniform Building Code is amended by the addition of this sentence, "Approved methods shall include the removal of metal wall ties from the exterior of foundation walls and the holes sealed. The proposed amendments will clarify the requirements for dampproofing foundation walls with metal wall ties, incorporate by reference the 1990 National Electrical Code with only one change to the text concerning concrete-encased electrodes, and clarify the building permit requirements for mobile homes no longer meeting the definition of mobile home in the Weld County Zoning Ordinance. The Weld County Building Trades Advisory Committee reviewed the proposed amendments and recommended approval of them on April 19, 1990. Motion seconded by Judy Yamaguchi.
