Dear Mr. Palermo:
This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation of Wednesday, January
19 , 1994, regarding the warning letter which you received from Lee D.
Morrison, Assistant to Weld County Attorney in reference to the Building
Code Violation for the property described above.
I have received a copy of Chuck Cunliffe ' s January 7 , 1994 letter to you,
in which he explains how he has been directed to accept and review a Flood
Hazard Development Permit for your property. The Board will consider your
request for the issuance of a building permit once the Flood Hazard
Development Permit is submitted. A copy of Mr. Cunliffe ' s letter is
enclosed.
The Weld County Attorney' s Office will refrain from pursuing the Building
Code Violation until directed to do so by Mr. Cunliffe and the Board of
County Commissioners . Therefore, please disregard the compliance date of
January 27, 1994 , as set forth in Mr. Morrison' s letter.

Dear Mr . Palermo :
Thank you for your letter of December 20 . The Board of County Commissioners
reviewed your request . The Board decided not to issue the building permit or
record the recorded exemption plat at this time . The Board directed the staff
to accept and review a Flood Hazard Development Permit for your property . Once
the Flood Hazard Development Permit is submitted the Board will reconsider your
request to issue the building permit .
