RE: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICES OF CLAIMS OF LIEN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Town o£ Severance, through its attorney, Don J.
Hoff, has certified to the Board of County Commissioners four
Notices of Claims of Lien, and
WHEREAS, said Liens concern the following described
properties:
A) Lots 11 and 12 in Block 10 , Town of Severance,
Weld County, Colorado, with the reputed owner
being Sandra M. Stansaas (Matson) of 241 Second
Street, Severance, Colorado. The amount due to
the Town of Severance as of September 1 , 1990 ,
is $648 . 00 . Said amount includes the amount of
$359 .00 which accrued prior to March 17 , 1988 ,
and which is set forth in a lien previously
recorded at Book 1227, Reception Number
02174521.
B) Lots 10 and 11 in Block 3 , Town of Severance,
Weld County Colorado, with the reputed owners
being Genero and Mercedes Garza of 117 Second
Avenue , Severance , Colorado. The amount due to
the Town of Severance as of September 1 , 1990,
is $255 . 00 .
C) Lot 9 and the North Half of Lot 8 , Block 9 , Town
of Severance, Weld County, Colorado, with the
reputed owner being Barbara L. Gomez of 132
First Avenue, Severance, Colorado. The amount
due to the Town of Severance as of September 1 ,
1990 , is $380 . 00 .
D) Lots 13 , 14 , 15 , and the West Half of Lot 16 , in
Block 3 , Town of Severance, Weld County,
Colorado, with the reputed owner being Barbara
L. Gomez with a common address of 132 First
Avenue, Severance, Colorado. The amount due to
the Town of Severance as of September 1 , 1990 ,
is $220 .35.

WHEREAS, after consideration, the Board deems it advisable to
accept said Notices of Claims of Lien, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. 31-35-617 , the County Assessor
shall be directed to add said Liens to the Assessment Role to be
collected in a manner as though they were part of the general
taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the four Notices of
Claims of Lien be, and hereby are, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the County Assessor
be, and hereby is, directed to add the hereinabove described Liens
to the Assessment Role so they may be collected as though they
were part of the general taxes.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
September, A.D. , /1990 .

The Town of Severance , by and through its attorney , DON J .
HOFF , hereby certifies to the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County , Colorado , for collection of certain sewer fees as
though they were part of the taxes . This Certification is made
pursuant to C . R . S . 31-35-617 .
The Liens herein certified to the Board of County
Commissioners for collection as though they were taxes are on the

Severance , Colorado . The amount due to the
Town of Severance , $380 . 00 as of September 1 ,
1990 .
The Town of Severance hereby requests that the Board of
County Commissioners collect the above described sums due to the
Town of Severance as though they were part of the taxes pursuant
to C . R . S . 31-35-617 .

the governing body of a municipality which provides sewer
services to certain properties may impose a lien upon said
property for failure to pay such sewer user charges , and
WHEREAS , the, above-stated taxpayer has filed to pay sewer
charges in the amount of $648 . 00 , all of which accrued prior to
September 1 , 1989 , The foregoing amount of $648 . 00 includes the
amount of $359 . 00 which accrued prior to March 17 , 1988 and which
1s set forth in a lien previously recorded at Book 1227 ,
Reception Number 027.74521 on 3/27/89 .
NOW , THEREFORE , the Town of Severance hereby claims a lien
as set forth in the above referenced statute upon the above-
referenecd property in the amount of $648 . 00 .
