RE: APPROVE LETTER 1 FROM COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CONCERNING STD/AIDS
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Letter 1 from Colorado
Department of Health concerning STD/AIDS Program to Weld County Health
Department, for the period January 1, 1993 through December 31, 1993, with the
further terms and conditions being as stated in said letter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said letter,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Letter 1 from Colorado Department of Health concerning
STD/AIDS Program to Weld County Health Department be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of January, A.D. , 1993, nunc pro
tune January 1, 1993.

AIDS Education Contract j
Subject:
Enclosed for Board approval is a letter of approval for the Weld County Health
Department's AIDS Education program from the Colorado Department of Health. The
Health Department will receive $21,030.00 for the period January 1, 1993 through
December 31, 1993 to provide AIDS public information services, AIDS education
services, and to serve as a local AIDS education recourse for school districts
in Weld County. This contract amount is the same as the prior year's contract.
I would recommend you approval of this letter of approval.
