Describe specifically the circumstances surrounding the incorrect value or tax, including owner's

Property was double assessed on oil and gas production for the 1992
year.Twelve months of production was reported by Logan & Firmine, a
Colorado Tax Consulting firm, in error. This production was to be reported
on the Arens 33-15 lease and should be corrected accordingly, to reflect
on the 1993 tax roll. At the same time that the formerly mentioned firm
had erroneously reported revenue and production to the subject property,
the petitioner's agent had also reported twelve months of production and
revenue correctly for the subject property ( See attached ) . We respect-
fully request a correction on Schedule number 0083990 to the below listed
value, and approximate or appropriate tax.

Dear Property Owner:
This is to advise you that the Weld County Board of Commissioners will hear your
petition for abatement or refund of taxes on the property described as: Arens #1
(Oil and Gas Lease) NW} NW} 23 4 65. The meeting is scheduled for Monday,
May 16, 1994, at 9:00 a.m. , at which time you may be heard. You are required to
submit any supporting documentation regarding this petition to the Office of the
Clerk to the Board and to the Weld County Assessor's Office at least seven
calendar days prior to the meeting date in order for it to be considered at said
meeting. The Assessor is recommending that the Board approve your petition.
The meeting will be held in the First Floor Meeting Room, Weld Couhty Centennial
Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado, at the above specified time.
