RE: APPROVE CLOSURE OF CLERK AND RECORDER'S GREELEY AND FORT LUPTON
OFFICES AT 3:00 P.M. ON DECEMBER 30, 1994
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on December 30, 1994, a complete cash and inventory count must be made in
the Clerk and Recorder's Office, to facilitate the transfer of said office to the newly-elected Clerk and
Recorder, and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Finance and Administration that the
Clerk and Recorder's Greeley and Fort Lupton Offices be closed at 3:00 p.m. on December 30, 1994,
to facilitate said counts, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to close said offices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Clerk and Recorder's Greeley and Fort Lupton Offices be, and hereby are,
approved for closure at 3:00 p.m. on December 30, 1994.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Clerk and Recorder be, and hereby is,
directed to publish and post notice of said closure to notify the citizens of Weld County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 5th day of December, A.D., 1994.

subject: Transition of Clerk and Recorders Office
In order to complete a smooth transition of the assets
of the Clerk and Recorder, it will be necessary to
close the offices of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder
at 1402 N. 17th Ave. Greeley and the substation at
330 Park Ave. Ft. Lupton at 12:00 noon on December 30,
1994 for purposes of a complete audit of the acccounts
and inventory.
I hereby request the Board of County Commissioners to
officially close the offices by resolution by December
5, 1994 in order to properly notify the public.
