RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY BOARD OF PUBLIC
HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Board of Public
Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Donna Meier be appointed to replace
Dr. Vel Kailasam as the District 3 representative; Ann Garrison be appointed to
replace Jean Maxey as the District 4 representative; and Mary Stoll be
reappointed as the at-large representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Donna Meier and Ann
Garrison, and to reappoint Mary Stoll to said board, with their terms to expire
May 23, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Donna Meier be, and hereby is, appointed to replace Dr.
Vel Kailasam as the District 3 representative and Ann Garrison be, and hereby is,
appointed to replace Jean Maxey as the District 4 representative, with both terms
to expire May 23, 1997.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Mary Stoll be, and hereby is, reappointed as the at-large
representative, with her term to expire May 23, 1997.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of July, A.D. , 1994.
