RE: APPROVE VACATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #5 GRANTED TO GOLDEN HARVEST
RANCH, INC.
0 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
o U pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

WHEREAS, a Conditional Use Permit for the construction and operation of
0 W facilities necessary for conducting a boy's ranch operation was granted by
0 3 Resolution dated September 25, 1974, to Golden Harvest Ranch, Inc. , Briggsdale,

oWHEREAS, said Conditional Use Permit was granted for property described as:

WHEREAS, Homer and Lois Bartling and Jim Konig, present property owners of
N w7 said parcel, have requested vacation of said Conditional Use Permit, and

z WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to approve

Subject: Conditional Use Permit 5, located in Section 5, T9N, R62W of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado.
Dear Commissioners:
On September 25, 1974 the Board of County Commissioners approved a conditional
use permit for a boy's ranch operation. This operation was conducted for a short
time, then abandoned. The present property owners, Mr. and Mrs Bartling and Mr.
Jim Koenig, in their March 5 letter, are requesting that the conditional use
permit be vacated.
The planning staff requests that the Board accept this request and vacate
Conditional Use Permit 5.
