RE: ANNUAL MEETING - WINDSOR SHORES LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on December 11, 1991, at 9:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman
Commissioner George Kennedy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner C. W. Kirby
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Director of Finance & Administration, Don Warden
Acting Clerk to the Board, Carol A. Harding
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that a public hearing was conducted regarding the Windsor
Shores Law Enforcement Authority. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, stated that due to the fact that the Authority was created after
May 15, 1991, it is too late to obtain a levy and assessment on it for
this year. Don Warden, Director of Finance and Administration,
recommended a budget of zero be adopted. Commissioner Harbert moved to
adopt a zero budget for fiscal year 1992 for the Windsor Shores Law
Enforcement Authority, and to set the next annual meeting on November 2,
1992 at 9:00 a.m. , at which time a preliminary budget for 1993 will be
considered. Commissioner Webster seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously. Next year the Windsor Shores Law Enforcement District final
budget will be considered for adoption at the County's final budget
hearing.
This Certification was approved on the 16th day of December, 1991.
