RE: ASSESSMENT OF COSTS OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR WELD BASSWOOD AVENUE LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 1990-2
A public hearing was conducted on August 21, 1991, at 10:00 A.M. , with the
following present:
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman
Commissioner George Kennedy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert - Excused
Commissioner C. W. Kirby
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Director of Engineering, Drew Scheltinga
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated July 10, 1991, and duly
published July 18, 1991, in The New News, a public hearing was conducted
to consider the assessment of costs for the Weld County Basswood Avenue
Local Improvement District No. 1990-2. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. He said that no written
objections have been received, and that a Resolution has been prepared
assessing each of the lots $959.05. Drew Scheltinga, Engineering
Director, said the original estimate was to not exceed $1000.00 per
parcel. The project was completed for $11,508.34 by Western Mobile
Northern; therefore, the assessment of each parcel is $959.05. No public
comment was received concerning this matter. Commissioner Webster moved
to approve the Resolution concerning the assessment of costs for said
District. Seconded by Commissioner Kirby, the motion carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 26th day of August, 1991.
