IN THE MATTER OF SETTING THE MILL LEVY FOR THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION FOR
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY,
COLORADO:
That it is necessary, by Colorado statute and by the Weld County Home Rule Charter, to set
the mill levy for the annual appropriation for Weld County Colorado for Fiscal Year 1995, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, adopted the
annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law, on December 7, 1994, and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for County funds is as
follows:

Contingent Fund 1,014,034
IGS - Insurance Fund 550,000
Capital Expenditures 3,943,449
Emergency Revenue 1,205,000

WHEREAS, the 1994 valuation for assessment for the County of Weld as certified by the
County Assessor is $1,243,943,280 for Budget Year 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners in and for
the County of Weld, State of Colorado, that for the purpose of meeting all legal expenses under
Section 29-1-301 through 29-1-305, CRS, as amended, and Section 14-7 of the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, there is hereby levied the following mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for
assessment of all taxable property within the County for Fiscal Year 1995:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the County Assessor and the County
Treasurer of Weld County, Colorado, be, and hereby are, authorized and directed to make such
entries upon their books, at such time or times as will be necessary to make this Mill Levy Ordinance
for the annual appropriation for Weld County, Colorado, for Fiscal Year 1995, effective.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that an emergency exists inasmuch as State law
requires that the mill levy of Weld County, Colorado, be enacted on or before the 15th day of
December, 1994, therefore, this Ordinance is declared to be an Emergency Ordinance under the
provisions of Section 3-14 of the Weld County Home Rule Charter.
The above and foregoing Ordinance No. 184 was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of December, A.D., 1994.
