Dear Ms. Gomez:
The Division of Local Government's intent for dissolution has been ceased
because of the districts desire to comply with the election and budget laws.
Enclosed you will find your Board of Canvassers Certification of Election Results
that you provided the Division on Wednesday, May 4, 1994. The additional
enclosures are: budget message form, sample budget format form, a copy of the
law pertaining to enterprise status, and the financial management manual.
As a reminder, the Division needs a copy of the "Notice of Cancellation",
documentation regarding the appointment of your board, Oaths and Bonds on
each board member. Once I receive this information your district will be in
compliance with the election portion of the law.
The district will need to fill out the "Budget Message" and provide the district's
budget on the "Sample Budget Format." Once this information is received then
you will have complied with the budget portion of the law.
Don Sandoval has been contacted and we will work with you on a time that we
can meet to discuss finances and other administrative issues. We are available
to assist you.
