RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution on October 19, 1992, the Board of County
Commissioners created the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for the
purpose of coordinating and overseeing the physician advisor services for Weld
County EMT's, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on February 8, 1993, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to February 10, 1993,
and
WHEREAS, at said hearing of February 10, 1993, staff recommended that the
following individuals be appointed to said council:

Weld County Ambulance Service Gary McCabe
Tri-Area Ambulance Service Ed Garbarino
Platte Valley Fire Protection District Jess Bond
North Colorado Medcial Center Pat Kern
Chief of Greeley Fire Department or Designee Cloyd Conley
President of Weld County Fire Chief's
Association or Designee Angie Wiley
EMS Coordinator from Aims Community College Mary Mast
Fire Protection District/Department-Northwest Mark Jacoby
Fire Protection District/Department-Northeast Roger Hill
Fire Protection District/Department-Southwest Kenny Dappen
Fire Protection District/Department-Southeast Terry Srader

WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint said individuals to the
Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council, with terms to expire December 31,
19 3.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned individuals be, and hereby are,
appointed to represent the areas indicated, with terms to expire December 31,
1993.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of February, A.D. , 1993.
