HomeMy WebLinkAbout941254.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF WELD COUNTY LOCAL PLANNING COMMITTEE, AS REQUIRED BY HB 94-1005, AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONS THERETO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Weld County Departments of Social Services and Human Services recommend that a Local Planning Committee, to be designated as the "Weld County Local Planning Committee" be formed under the auspices of the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to the provisions of HB 94-1005 (§§24-1.7-401, et. seq., C.R.S.) and that citizens of Weld County be appointed to said Committee, and WHEREAS, said Weld County Local Planning Committee will formulate a plan for human service operations in Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the term of said Weld County Local Planning Committee and all of the members thereon shall be one year from the date of approval of this Resolution, unless extended by the Board at the end of said term. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that pursuant to the provisions of HB 94-1005 (§§24-1.7-401, et. seq., C.R.S.), the Weld County Local Planning Committee be, and hereby is, created and shall consist of twenty members. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the following individuals be, and hereby are, appointed to said Committee for the term of one year, with the Board of County Commissioners reserving the option to appoint said persons to additional terms as determined by the Board, if necessary: Mandated/ Name Area of Representation Required 1. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Local Planning Committee shall be governed by and/or comply with the following attached items: A. Local Planning Committee Flow Chart to delineate roles and responsibilities. B. Summary description of principles governing the Local Planning Committee. C. Outline of the local restructuring plan components. D. Outline of the process to develop the plan. E.
