THE CITY OF GREELEY, COLORADO RESOLUTION N0. 39 , 1990 A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO ENFORCEMENT AND IMPOSITION OF FEES BY THE WELD COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES PROVIDED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF GREELEY, COLORADO. WHEREAS , pursuant to section 30-15-401 ( 8) , C .R.S. 1973, it is necessary for the City of Greeley to consent to the enforcement and imposition of the collection of fees for environmental health services provided by the Weld County Health Department; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the health , safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Greeley for the City to grant such consent . NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNSEL OF GREELEY, COLORADO: 1 . The City of Greeley hereby consents to the enforcement and imposition of fees by the Weld County Health Department for environmental health services provided within the city limits of the City of Greeley, Colorado. 2 . This consent is granted pursuant toand to comply with the provisions of section 30-15-X401 (8) , C , 1973. 3 . The current list of fees for environmental health services by the Weld County Health Department is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" . However , this schedule of fees may be revised from time to time by either Weld County or by state statute. The result is some enhancement of county ordinance powers along with provisions that may require municipal consent before County rules may be applied within municipalities and to allow County services and functions to be provided within municipalities, C.R.S. , Section 30-15-401 (8) . C.R.S. , Section 25-1-507 (1) (h) , as added, allows for the collection of fees for certain environmental health services provided by the county health department from those receiving the service. (Attachment 1) The Weld County Environmental Health Division conducts a number of different functions within your municipality. Environmental Health functions are listed in Attachment "2" (not all may be occurring at this time within your municipality) . Weld County is proposing to continue these services according to the schedule and is requesting your municipality' s consent. The fees themselves will not be assessed to the municipality unless the service is provided directly to a municipal facility.
