RE: APPOINT CANVASS BOARD FOR FORT JUNCTION PUD LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
ELECTION ON MARCH 29, 1994
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in its Resolution dated January 31, 1994, effective date
February 14, 1994, the Board of County Commissioners set the election for the
Fort Junction PUD Law Enforcement Authority (LEA) for March 29, 1994, with the
election being by mail-ballot pursuant to CRS, Section 1-7.5-101, et seq. , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mary Ann Feuerstein, Weld
County Clerk and Recorder, Francis M. Loustalet, Weld County Treasurer, and
Warren Lasell, Weld County Assessor, to be members of the Canvass Board who will
canvass the votes on March 30, 1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above stated appointments for the Canvass Board for
the special election for the Fort Junction PUD LEA shall become effective upon
the signing of this Resolution.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of March, A.D. , 1994, effective
date March 29, 1994.
