THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this / day of
/kite_ , 19 1 ! , by and between Ed Jordan, Weld County
Sheriff, whose business address is 915 Tenth Street, Greeley,
Colorado 80631, and Richard Shockley, Larimer County Sheriff,
whose business address is 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins,
Colorado 80521 .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Section 30-11-107 ( 1 ) (aa) , C.R.S. , allows boards of
county commissioners to delegate their power to enter into
contracts binding upon the County pursuant to such policies and
procedures as set by those boards, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, by Resolution passed on August 22 , 1991, delegated to
Sheriff Ed Jordan the Board' s power to enter into agreements that
are binding upon the County for personal services related to
criminal investigations, and
WHEREAS, Sheriff Richard Shockley has received authorization
by the Larimer County Board of County Commissioners to enter into
contracts of this nature, and

WHEREAS, Sheriff Jordan and Sheriff Shockley deem it
advisable to enter into this agreement for the purpose of dividing
the proceeds of personal and real property seized in the course of
criminal investigations in which Cooperating Individual 90-8 plays
a part.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and
covenants contained herein, the parties hereto agree as follows :
1 . Term: The term of this Agreement shall be for one ( 1)
year from the date of signing herein. This Agreement
shall renew automatically unless terminated by either
party as through the procedures set forth in paragraph 2
below.

2 . Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement
by providing the other party written notice at least
fifteen ( 15) days prior to the proposed date of
termination.
3 . Division of Proceeds from Seizures :
A. The parties agree that Cooperating Individual 90-8
shall take 33 . 33 percent of the proceeds from all
property seized in the course of investigations
resulting from investigative work performed by
Cooperating Individual 90-8 .
B. The parties agree that all necessary expenses shall
be deducted from said proceeds after the
Cooperating Individual ' s 33 . 33 percent is first
deducted therefrom.
C. The parties agree that Weld County and Larimer
County shall each receive fifty percent ( 50%) of
the remainder of said proceeds only in those cases
in which targets where provided by Larimer County.
In those cases in which targets were provided by
Weld County or counties other than Larimer County,
Weld County shall then receive one-hundred percent
( 100%) of said remaining proceeds .
