RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDING - KUREK
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1991, the Department of Planning Services informed the
Board that John M. Kurek had a building on his property which is considered to
be dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous
Buildings, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot 5, Block 14, Aristocrat
Ranchettes Subdivision, Weld County, Colorado, located at 7752 Hart Street, Fort
Lupton, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of July 22, 1991, the Board deemed it advisable to
set October 30, 1991, as the hearing date to consider recovering the cost of the
cleanup work, and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of October 30, 1991, the Department of Planning
Services informed the Board that the violation no longer exists on this property;
therefore, said citation should be dismissed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the citation for Abatement of Dangerous Buildings issued
to John M. Kurek be, and hereby is, dismissed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the followi vote on the 30th day of October, A.D. , 1991.
