WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 8th day of June, 1994, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of Griffin-Holder Co. , P.O. Kirkmeyer Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Keith Schuett The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 23, 1994, and duly published May 26, 1994, in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Griffin-Holder Co. for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an agricultural service establishment (onion storage and processing) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Keith Schuett, Planning Department representative, stated staff is requesting a continuance to June 15, 1994, to allow the applicant to meet the ten-day sign posting requirement. The applicant was not present or represented. No public testimony was offered concerning the continuance of this matter. Commissioner Hall moved to continue the request of Griffin-Holder Co. for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for an agricultural service establishment (onion storage and processing) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District to June 15, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. , based on the recommendation of the Planning staff. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
