RE: APPROVE TAX ABATEMENT PETITION FROM HUDSON GRAIN CO. , AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Tax Abatement
Petition from Hudson Grain Co. , requesting an adjustment on the
purchase price on property described as follows:
Schedule Number R6327486; HUD10905 IMPS ON CB&Q R/W
SE4SE4 3 1 65 %650 BIRCH% PREVIOUSLY MALO FEED CO
PURCHASE CONTRACT IN JUNE ' 88
WHEREAS, the taxpayer requested an abatement of $14 ,500 in
assessed valuation, but the Board, after consideration, granted an
abatement of assessed valuation in the total sum of $7 , 250 which
results in an actual tax abatement in the total sum of $674 .32.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the
taxpayer-petitioner is granted an abatement on the above real
property for the tax year 1989 in the total sum of $674 . 32.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Petition.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
November, A.D. , 1990 .

Dear Mr. Johnson:
I enclose herewith a photocopy of the Resolution which granted
your Petition for Abatement in part which resulted in a total
abatement to you for the tax year 1989 in the total sum of
$674 . 32 .
If you disagree with the action of the Board of County
Commissioners in this matter, you may appeal this matter to the
Board of Assessment Appeals of the State of Colorado pursuant to
Section 39-2-125 (f) , C.R. S . The appeal must be filed no later
than thirty (30) days from the entry of the decision and the entry
of the decision was dated November 26 , 1990 .
The Board of Assessment Appeals is located at 1313 Sherman Street,
Room 315 , Denver, Colorado 80203 . Their telephone number. is
366-5880 . They can furnish the necessary forms to you for lodai-ng
an appeal should you so desire , and I believe will mail the forms
to you if you simply telephone them.

MANY ELEVATOR NOW GOING BROKE. THE PURCHASE PRICE FOR ALL OF ELEVATOR, VEHICLE,
PERSONAL PROPERTIES WAS $80,000 AND SINCE 1988 VALUES HAVE DECREASED DRASTICALLY,
DUE TO BAD CROPS, DROUGHT NO CCC STORAGE, LAYASIDE SUBSIDIES, ETC. IT HAS LOST
MONEY EACH MONTH SINCE JULY 1988.
THE FIGURE OF $75,000 IS A MUCH MORE REALISTIC FIGURE THAN THE $125,000 FIGURE.
THIS IS AN OLD ELEVATOR.
