HomeMy WebLinkAbout901187.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE TAX ABATEMENT PETITION FROM HUDSON GRAIN CO. , AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Tax Abatement Petition from Hudson Grain Co. , requesting an adjustment on the purchase price on property described as follows: Schedule Number R6327486; HUD10905 IMPS ON CB&Q R/W SE4SE4 3 1 65 %650 BIRCH% PREVIOUSLY MALO FEED CO PURCHASE CONTRACT IN JUNE ' 88 WHEREAS, the taxpayer requested an abatement of $14 ,500 in assessed valuation, but the Board, after consideration, granted an abatement of assessed valuation in the total sum of $7 , 250 which results in an actual tax abatement in the total sum of $674 .32. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the taxpayer-petitioner is granted an abatement on the above real property for the tax year 1989 in the total sum of $674 . 32. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said Petition.
