P. O. Box 5493 Denver, CO 80217 Subject: Amended USR-542 Dear Mr. Pearson: Thank you for your letter of August 1. The Department of Planning Services' staff has considered your proposals as outlined in your letter and updated USR plat and has determined that the relocations and substitutions will not be considered a major change to Amended USR-542. It is my understanding from our conversation this morning, that you will submit one more updated plat which shows the elimination of the existing B plant which is to be relocated. I have received a letter from Glenn Miller, Fire Marshal, Platteville Fire District, regarding the replacement of the wood fence with a fifteen foot corrugated steel double fence with four inches of styrofoam between the steel. He has stated that a fence made of a noncombustible product would be much safer than the wood fence as originally proposed. The Department of Planning Services' has no objection to this substitution. The expansion of the office will not be considered a major change to the USR. Please let me know if you have any questions. Very truly yours, Lanell J.
