A public hearing was conducted on October 6, 1993, at 10:00 A.M. , with .he
following present:
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert, Chairman
Commissioner W. H. Webster, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer - Excused
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Greg Thompson
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 15, 1993 , dnd
duly published September 16, 23, and 30, 1993, in the Windsor Beacon a
public hearing was conducted to consider the Service Plan for the proposed
Thompson Rivers Park and Recreation District. Lee Morrison, Assistant
County Attorney, made this a matter of record and indicated the proponents
had mailed post-card notifications. Greg Thompson, Planning Department
representative, said this matter was heard by the Planning Commission
yesterday, October 5, 1993, who recommended the matter be continued
indefinitely, due to the additional referral information needed. There
was no one present to represent the proposed district, and there was no
public testimony offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Baxter
moved to continue the matter concerning the Service Plan for the propo>ed
Thompson Rivers Park and Recreation District, based on the recommendation
of the Planning Commission, indefinitely. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Hall, and it carried unanimously. Mr. Morrison stated ill
notices would need to be remailed and republished before proceeding with
the matter when vended.
