Subject: Adding two pens with 720-760' of bunk space to Amended SUP-199, located in the
NW/4 of Section 17, T7N, R65W of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
Dear Mr. Rathbun:
Thank you for your letter of August 16, 1994. Staff has reviewed your letter along with the
letter from Brian Grubb dated October 9, 1992 and the Development Standards of Amended
SUP-199. Staff has referred this matter to the Weld County Public Works Department and the
Weld County Health Department for additional review. Staff has determined that the use as
described above is not a major change to the existing Amended SUP-199. However, in the
memo from the Weld County Health Department, dated August 26, 1994, Trevor Jiricek states:
"if the facility is increasing its physical area or average working capacity by one third of the
existing capacity it must submit a Manure and Process Wastewater Management Plan to the
Water Quality Control Division of the Colorado Depaitnient of Health and Environment."
