RE: HEARING OF A PROPOSITION TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AS WELD COUNTY BASSWOOD AVENUE
LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1990-2
A public hearing was conducted on November 14, 1990, at 10:00 A.M. ,
with the following present:
Commissioner Gene R. Brantner, Chairman
Commissioner George Kennedy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner C.W. Kirby
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tommie Antuna
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
County Engineer, Drew Scheltinga
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 3, 1990, and
duly published October 11, 1990, in The New News, a public hearina was
conducted to consider the proposition to create a local improvement
district, said district to be known. as Weld County Basswood Avenue
Local Improvement District No. 1990-2. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this matter of record. Drew Scheltinga, County
Engineer, explained the purpose of this local improvement district and
the cost for same. Mr. Scheltinga said there will be no ditches or
culverts included in this improvement district.. No written protests
were received, and there was no public comment offered at this hearing.
Mr. Morrison said the Board had received a copy of the Resolution
concerning the creation of this improvement district. Commissioner
Lacy moved to approve the Resolution entitled "Creation of Weld County
Basswood Avenue Local Improvement District No. 1990-2." Commissioner
Kirby seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 19th day of November, 1990.
