The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations at the Keenesburg Mine which is located 7 miles north of Keenesburg, accessed by Weld County Road 59. The permit area is within Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, Township 3 North, Range 64 West, 6th Prime Meridian, in Weld County. The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps "Klug Ranch" and "Tampa. " A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Town Hall in Keenesburg, Colorado.
