RE: APPROVE REMOVAL OF "YIELD" SIGN ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 54.25 AND INSTALLATION
OF "STOP" SIGN ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 54 AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 54.25
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that the "Yield" sign on Weld County Road 54.25 be removed and a "Stop"
sign be installed on Weld County Road 54 at Weld County Road 54.25, to insure
safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic devices are necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to remove the "Yield" sign on Weld County Road 54.25 and install a "Stop" sign
on Weld County Road 54 at Weld County Road 54.25, for the safety of the general
public, and said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following/^ vote on the 2nd day of August, A.D. , 1993.
