RE: APPROVE APPLICANT'S REQUEST TO PARTICIPATE IN CDBG HOUSING REHABILITATION
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an applicant's request to become
eligible for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation
Project, and
WHEREAS, the applicant's home, located at 124 Fremont Street, Johnstown,
Colorado, was determined, by the State Historic Preservation Office, as eligible
for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places, and
WHEREAS, the work items required for the project will not be adversely
impacted by the homes' inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends the project be approved for participation in the
CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Project, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, ex-officio Housing Authority Board, that the applicant's
request to become eligible for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Housing Rehabilitation Project be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 28th day of September, A.D. , 1992.

DATE: September 24, 1992
The Board's approval is being requested for an applicant to become eligible
for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation
Project.
The applicant's home was determined, by the State Historic Preservation
Office, as eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic
Places. However, the work items required for the project will not be
adversely impacted by the home's inclusion in the National Register of
Historic Places.
It is our recommendation that the project be approved by the Board for
participation in the CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Project.

NOTE: The applicant's home is located at 124 Fremont Street, Johnstown,
Colorado. This request was discussed at the Weld County Housing
Authority Work Session of September 21, 1992.
