RE: RESCIND RESOLUTION OF SEPTEMBER 16, 1987, GRANTING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM
A (AGRICULTURAL) TO P.U.D. (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) WITH R-1 (LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) USES FOR CECIL W. KING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on September 16, 1987, the Board approved a Resolution granting
a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) with
R-1 (Low Density Residential) Uses for Cecil W. King, for a parcel of land
located on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the SE/4 SE/4, Section 9, Township
1 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. ,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a letter from Cecil W. King, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, requesting
vacation of his initial request, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services has advised the Board that the
final P.U.D. plat has not yet been filed, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to rescind said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Resolution dated September 16, 1987, granting a Change
of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) with R-1 (Low
Density Residential) Uses to Cecil W. King be, and hereby is, rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the property described above
hereby reverts to A (Agricultural) Use.

Mr. King has submitted a letter requesting the resolution granting a change of
zone from A (Agricultural) to Planned Unit Development with Residential Uses be
rescinded. The parcel is described as 37.186 acres, more or less and is located
in the SE4 SE4 of Section 9, T1N, R66W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado.
The Department of Planning Services' staff recommends approval of this request.
Mr. King's letter and Board of County Commissioners' resolution are enclosed for
review.
