RE: DENY WAIVING TIME LIMIT CONCERNING RENEWAL OF 3.2% BEER LICENSE - ALVIN
AND ABRAHAM GARCIA, DBA GARCIA STORE, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of September, 1993, the Board did receive an
application from Alvin and Abraham Garcia, dba Garcia Store, for renewal of a
3.2% Beer License, and
WHEREAS, said application was submitted to the Board less than 45 days
prior to the date of expiration, as required in Section 12-47-106(1) (b) , CRS, as
amended, and
WHEREAS, the Board, by resolution on July 7, 1993, did set forth reasons
to be good cause for denial of waiving the 45-day time limit concerning renewal
of liquor licenses, and
WHEREAS, the Board determined that there has been shown sufficient cause,
in accordance with the policy set forth by resolution on July 7, 1993, to deny
waiving the time limit for Alvin and Abraham Garcia, dba Garcia Store.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request to waive the time requirement as set forth in
Section 12-47-106(1) (b) , CRS, as amended, concerning the renewal request of Alvin
and Abraham Garcia, dba Garcia Store, for a 3.2% Beer License, be, and hereby is,
denied.
