RE: APPROVE NON-FINANCIAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN AREA AGENCY ON AGING, SENIOR
NUTRITION PROJECT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY OF TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Non-Financial Agreement
between the Area Agency on Aging Senior Nutrition Project, by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and the Housing Authority
of the Town of Johnstown, with the terms and conditions being as stated in said
agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Non-Financial Agreement between the Area Agency on
Aging Senior Nutrition Project, by and through the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, and the Housing Authority of the Town of Johnstown be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of April, A.D. , 1993.

NON-FINANCIAL AGREEMENT
THIS I AGREEMENT, is made and entered into this '- day of
/ �k-cj , 1993 , by and between the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Division of Human
Resources ' Area Agency on Aging' s Senior Nutrition Project,
hereinafter referred to as the "Project, " and the Housing Authority
of the Town of Johnstown, hereinafter referred to as the "Site. "
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to work together for the
express purpose of providing nutrition services and supportive
services to senior citizens in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to provide a back-up congregate
meal site for senior citizens in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, to implement these goals, the parties desire to
establish an Agreement for the use of the Housing Authority of the
Town of Johnstown Senior Center for the Senior Nutrition Project;
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the parties
hereto covenant and agree as follows :
1 . The Site agrees to allow the Project the use of its
facilities at no cost as a back-up congregate meal/home
delivery site and supportive services as scheduled.
2 . Project will work in conjunction with their contracted
food vendor to provide meals .
3 . Representatives of the Colorado State Department of Social
Services, Weld County Health Department, and Johnstown
Volunteer Fire Department may make inspections of the
congregate meal/home delivery site at any reasonable time.
4 . The Senior Aide Coordinator and volunteer staff will be
responsible for the recruitment of participants to the
Senior Nutrition Project and for providing supportive
services to the senior citizens of the Johnstown area.

5 . Senior Aide Coordinators will maintain all records , meal
reservations listings, meal coordination, and scheduling
of Project volunteers . Any equipment acquired from the
funds from the Weld County Senior Nutrition Project shall
remain the property of the Weld County Senior Nutrition
Project but the Site shall have use of the equipment for
so long as the Site continues to function at its current
capacity in Johnstown, Colorado.
6 . This Agreement may be terminated upon thirty ( 30) days
written notice by either the Project or the Site.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have set their hands the day
and year above written.

Agreement between the Weld County Senior Nutrition Program and
the Sonnstown community center ann Jonnstowu Housing AuLhuLiLy
Enclosed for Board approval is a Memorandum of Agreement and a Non-Financial
Agreement between the Weld County Senior Nutrition Program and the Johnstown
Community Center and the Johnstown Housing Authority.
The Agreements provide the Senior Nutrition Program use of these facilities as
a congregate meal site for the Senior Nutrition Program.
