RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED PACKER FROM FARIS MACHINERY COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures
require that all used property be purchased by Board Resolution,
and
WHEREAS, the Board has been advised that the Weld County Road
and Bridge Department has been leasing a Packer from Faris
Machinery Company, said Packer being described as a WACKER Model
WDH-86-110 Double Drum Walk Behind Roller, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the used Packer be
purchased from Faris Machinery for the total purchase price of
$23 , 253 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby authorizes the
purchase of the hereinabove described Packer from Faris Machinery
Company, for a total purchase price of $23 , 253 . 00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
April, A.D. , 1990 .
