Straight 225 19th Avenue Court Greeley, CO 80631 RE: Plowing Permit for Property Located in the West Half of Section 22 , Township 7 , North, Range 59 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado Dear Mr. Straight: The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has considered your request dated January 22 , 1991 , concerning a waiver of Weld County Ordinance No . 108-A as it applies to property located in the West Half of Section 22 , Township 7 North, Range 59 West of the 601 P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. The Board o£ County Commissioners understands that you wish to cultivate a five-acre parcel located in the Northwest corner of Section 22 . This parcel will be included in your conservation plan for the majority of the West Half of Section 22 . Attached is a copy of the plat which shows in blue the property which you plan to include in the conservation plan. Please be advised that the Board of County Commissioners will require you to obtain a permit for all of the property which you intend to cultivate in the West Half of Section 22, T7N, R59W. The Board will , however, waive the fee and the collateral for the permit. It is also the Board' s understanding that the cultivation plan from the Soil Conservation Service will not be issued until late February, 1991. C i .r 1. _a Win•., • _ ,I , 91.079 USDA-Soil Conservaton Service Greeley Field Office 3/91 RESIDUE CONVERSION CHART To convert FROM: Flat small grain equivalents (fsge) residue amounts shown in the Food Security Act (FSA) conservation plan, TO: actual amounts of crop residues, in pounds per acre, by crop type to meet the FSA plan requirements. Step 1: Locate the column for the fsge amount shown in the plan. Step 2 : Read down the crops to the appropriate crop type residue type (i.e. standing grain corn, standing silage corn, random small grain, growing winter wheat, etc. ) . Step 3 : Read the amount in pounds per acre of actual residue that are required. For practice code 344 Crop Residue Management and 'Till ACS Tillage, the residue levels are required through the critical wind erosion period from December 1 to as late in the spring as practical before spring seedbed preparation.
