RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS
BUILDING - VEGA AND SANTOS
WHEREAS , the Board cf County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 14 , 1990 , the Department of Planning
Services informed the Board that Jesus and Octavio Vega, and Maria
Santos have a building on their property which is considered to be
dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings, and
WHERAS, said property is described as part of the SE* of
Section 11 , Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado, located at 2501 East 18th Street, Greeley,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 14 , the Board continued this matter to
April 16, 1990 , to allow the owners to come into compliance, and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of April 16, the Board was advised
that debris still exists on this property, and it determined that
removal of all debris on said property shall be completed by April
30 , 1990 , and if not completed by said date, this matter shall be
referred to the County Attorney for appropriate legal action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Jesus and Octavio
Vega, and Maria Santos be, and hereby are, granted until April 30 ,
1990, to complete the clean up and to allow an inspection of said
property hereinabove mentioned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that if the clean up is
not completed by April 30 , 1990 , this matter shall he referred to
the County Attorney for legal action.

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 16th day of
April, A.D. , 1990 .

Mr. Vega called the office and said the structure had been torn down and
requested an inspection.
I inspected the property for compliance. The structure has been torn down,
however, some debris and loose tin remain on the property. I told Mr. Vega
that when he removes all material and cleans the site I will close the case.
