RE: APPOINTMENT OF A TEMPORARY HOMELESS/HOUSING ADVISORY TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners deems it proper to appoint
a Temporary Homeless/Housing Advisory Task Force for the specific purposes of
assisting the Director of the Weld County Social Services Department in the
development of a plan to study homeless and housing services in Weld County and
in the development of recommendations, as a result of the Task Force Study, to
the Board of County Commissioners for a comprehensive implementation plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a Temporary Weld County Homeless/Housing Advisory Task
Force shall be established this date with membership consisting of the following
representatives:

1. Connie Harbert, Weld County Weld County Government and
Commissioner Weld County Housing Authority
2. Mike Geile, Manager, Public Service Private Sector
3. Mick Todd, Board Member United Way
4. Charles Archibeque, City Council Member City of Greeley
5. Hank Rahmig, President, Greeley Banking and Financing
Central Bank
6. Marlene Steiber, Director, City of Fort Lupton
Fort Lupton Housing Authority
7. Buck Moskalski, Board Member Private Industry Council
8. Julianne F. Haefeli Private Sector
9. Dick Maxfield, Owner, Maxfield Housing Coalition
Service Corp.
10. Stephen Hulbert, Vice President University of Northern Colorado
11. Pete Morrell, Owner, Private Sector
Morrell & Associates
12. Verlee North Shae, Assistant Pastor Greeley Interfaith Council
An agriculture and private sector member will be appointed at a later
date.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Temporary Homeless/Housing
Advisory Task Force be, and hereby is, appointed until December 31, 1993.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Weld County Commissioners deems
it proper to appoint a Temporary Homeless/Housing Advisory Task Force for the
specific purposes of assisting the Director of the Weld County Social Services
Department in the development of a plan to study homeless and housing services
in Weld County and make recommendations, as a result of the Task Force's study,
to the Board of County Commissioners for a comprehensive implementation plan.
The Temporary Homeless/Housing Advisory Task Force shall meet at such times and
places as necessary to accomplish this specific purpose.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of June, A.D. , 1992.
