RE: CREATION OF WELD COUNTY UNDESIRABLE PLANT MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMISSION
AND APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant Colorado Statute and Weld County Home Rule Charter is invested with
authority of administrating the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 35-5.5-107(1), C.R.S. , the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County is required to appoint an Undesirable Plant
Management Advisory Commission for Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the members of the Commission must be residents of the
unincorporated portion of Weld County and at least the majority of the members
must be landowners of over forty acres.
NOW, THEREFORE, be resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Undesirable Plant Management Advisory
Commission shall consist of nine members, and the following individuals be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Commission, with their initial terms to expire as
set forth below:
One year term, which shall
expire on August 19, 1992: John Watson
Richard Foose
Jack Hill
Two year term, which shall
expire on August 19, 1993: Barry Wingfield
Bill Erickson
Louis Klein
Three year term, which shall
expire on August 19, 1994: David Bates
Janice Dersham
Paul Henneck
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that:
1. All future appointees shall be appointed for three year terms.
2. Commission members may serve for only two full consecutive terms.

3. The Advisory Commission's powers and duties shall be limited to
those set forth in Section 35-5.5-107, C.R.S.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 19th of August, A.D. , 1991.
