HomeMy WebLinkAbout920083.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AMBULANCE FEE FOR PHYSICIAN ADVISOR WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, recent regulatory changes require that all emergency medical technicians (EMT's) must have a physician advisor, and WHEREAS, a task force appointed by the Board of County Commissioners has recommended that a physician advisor and emergency medical services coordinator funded jointly by emergency medical services would be the most cost effective way to provide the required functions, and WHEREAS, the task force recommended that a portion of the costs of the above program be funded by patients using the service with a $4.00 (Four Dollar) fee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the base rate and helicopter paramedic rate be increased $4.00 (Four Dollars) for 1992 ambulance charges. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following ote on the 3rd day of February, A.D. , 1992.
