RE: APPLICATION FOR HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE - RAFFERTY'S, INC. ,
DBA RAFFERTY'S
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an application from Rafferty's,
Inc. , dba Rafferty's, 5990 West 10th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for a
Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License, for the sale of malt, vinous, and spirituous
liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, and
WHEREAS, upon inspection the required sign was not posted, and the Board
deems it advisable to continue said matter to January 29, 1992, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, the application of Rafferty's, Inc. , dba Rafferty's, for a
Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License be, and hereby is, continued to January 29,
1992, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of January, A.D. , 1992.

RE: APPLICATION FOR HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE - RAFFERTY'S,
INC. , DBA RAFFERTY'S
A public hearing was conducted on January 15, 1992, at 10:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner George Kennedy, Chairman
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert, Pro-Tem
Commissioner C. W. Kirby
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Commissioner W. H. Webster - Absent
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Bruce Barker
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice duly published January 3, 1992,
in The New News, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of
Rafferty's, Inc. , dba Rafferty's, for a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor
License for comsumption on the premises only. Bruce Barker, Assistant
County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Let the record reflect
that Commissioner Webster is now present. Commissioner Lacy stated the
required sign has not been posted and moved to continue said matter to
January 29, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. Neither the applicant nor a
representative was present; however, Mr. Barker said he talked to Robert
Ray, Attorney representing the applicant, this morning, and Mr. Ray stated
he is under the impression the sign has been posted. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Harbert, and carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 20th day of January, 1992.
