Home My WebLink About930611.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME TO DELBERT GLOVER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal from Delbert Glover, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described as a 1991 GMC Pickup, VIN Il1GTEC14Z3ME526434, being more fully described in said proposal which is attached hereto and incorporated herin by reference, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal from Delbert Glover to buy said equipment for and in consideration of the sum of $5,333.33, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve said bid proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared as surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the bid proposal from Delbert Glover in the amount of $5,333.33 be, and hereby is, approved. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of July, A.D. , 1993.
