II Our Reference No. 01389 . 148 Dear Board: Enclosed is an original and two copies of the Petition for Abatement or Refund of Taxes for the above-referenced Petitioner. Please date stamp one copy and return in the enclosed self- addressed, stamped envelope. Thank you for your courtesy. Very truly yours, BERENBAUM & WEINSHIENK, P.C. WlpCAL Judy W cox, Secretary to William D. Burding, Jr. /7w Enclosures a Exhibit "A" Petitioner filed an ad valorem tax protest for 1990 taxes due and payable in 1991. The Weld County Assessor's Office recognized the value of the subject property was assessed too high and lowered the actual value of the subject property from $877, 361 to $738, 625. Petitioner now requests an abatement in the same amount as was stipulated to for 1990 taxes due and payable in 1991. Since both the 1989 and 1990 taxes were governed by the same statutory base period (January 1, 1987-June 30, 1988) , there is a presumption that the values for both years should be the same. There was no physical change in the premises between the lien date of January 1, 1989 and January 1, 1990, and the reduction made by the Assessor is reflective of the value of the subject property during the base period. Therefore, the Petitioner requests an abatement in the amount as set forth, in the Petition and in the Resolution from the County Board of Equalization of Weld County, Colorado dated August 3 , 1990 (attached hereto) . Q;sil.t U 5 n . cV'UC 5 1YA;lt6i • i n T tiC d"E Lpf 6 k fr w 4 +trr RESOLUTION 4 s 9 RE: THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION, 1990, WELD COUNTY, COIARADO 1 r:1 eu PETITION OF: POWER CAR WASH INVESTORS LTD II • 10763 TURNER BLVD LONGMONT, CO 805044,' ; DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY: PIN: R 0086087 PARCEL: 131310100038,, - 25107-X1 PT NE4 10 2 68 COMM E4 COR OF SEC N89D49 'W 451.41 ."
