RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETING SCHEDULED
FOR MARCH 9, 1992
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to inclement weather on March 9, 1992, a quorum of the Board
of County Commissioners informally decided to call a "snow day", wherein County
offices were closed for the day, and
WHEREAS, a need exists to formally cancel the Board of County Commissioners
meeting scheduled for that date, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to cancel said Board of County
Commissioners meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Board meeting of March 9, 1992 be, and hereby is,
canceled because of inclement weather.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that all business originally scheduled
for March 9, 1992, be considered during the March 11, 1992 meeting.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of March, A.D. , 1992, nunc pro tunc
March 9, 1992.
