RE: ITEMIZING LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 1994
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays to be observed in 1994 as days off
for Weld County employees:
New Year's Day Saturday, January 1, 1994 (Holiday is
taken Friday, December 31, 1993)
Washington/Lincoln Day Monday, February 21, 1994
Memorial Day Monday, May 30, 1994
Independence Day Friday, July 1, 1994 (replaces Colorado
Day) and Monday, July 4, 1994
Labor Day Monday, September 5, 1994
Veteran's Day Friday, November 11, 1994
Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 24, 1994 and Friday,
November 25, 1994 (replaces King's
Birthday)
Christmas Day Friday, December 23, 1994 (replaces
Columbus Day) and Sunday, December 25,
1994 (Holiday is taken Monday, December
26, 1994)
FLOATING HOLIDAYS:
District Attorney -- December 31, 1993; July 1, 1994; November 25,
1994; and December 23, 1994
Human Resources -- December 31, 1993; July 1, 1994; November 25,
1994; and December 23, 1994
Head Start and Transportation -- Will follow holiday schedule as set
by the appropriate School District.
Sheriff's Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday
schedule as set by State of Colorado.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the list of holidays as set forth above shall be observed
during the calendar year of 1994 as days off for Weld County employees.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of September, A.D. , 1994.
