Home My WebLink About940454.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) TO E (ESTATE) - TOM AND MARGARET RUSSELL WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 11th day of May, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of hearing the application of Tom and Margaret Russell, 1710 Lashley Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501, requesting a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to E (Estate) for a parcel of land located on the following described real estate, to-wit: Part of the Ei of Section 5, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, at said hearing on May 11, 1994, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to May 18, 1994, to allow all Board members to be present, and WHEREAS, at said hearing on May 18, 1994, the applicant was not present or represented, and WHEREAS, the Planning staff informed the Board that the applicants had requested a second continuance to allow all Board members to be present, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony and statements of those present and reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request for a second continuance shall be approved and the matter shall be continued to May 25, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the application of Tom and Margaret Russell requesting a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to E (Estate) on the above referenced parcel of land be, and hereby is, continued to May 25, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. PL0950 p 940454 CHANGE OF ZONE - RUSSELL PAGE 2 The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of May, A.D. , 1994. A notice of continuance, dated April 25, 1994, was also published in the Windsor Beacon on April 28, 1994, concerning said matter. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, indicated the applicants have again requested a continuance since Commissioner Kirkmeyer is not present at today's hearing. A notice of second continuance has been published, posted, and mailed for the continuance of this hearing to May 25, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. The applicants were not present, and no public testimony was offered concerning the continuance of this matter. Commissioner Baxter moved to continue the request of Tom and Margaret Russell for a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to E (Estate) to May 25, 1994, at 10:00 a.m. , based on the applicants' request. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Harbert, and it carried unanimously.
